IVOC Summer Kickoff

Fitchburg 01420 Week is an annual celebration that shines a spotlight on the vibrant culture, rich history, and dynamic community spirit of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Held every year in the heart of the city, 01420 Week brings together residents, local businesses, artists, and visitors for a week-long series of events that honor everything that makes Fitchburg unique.
From live music performances, food truck festivals, and art exhibits to historical walking tours, family-friendly activities, and small business showcases, 01420 Week has something for everyone. The event is named after Fitchburg’s zip code—01420—as a way to foster local pride and unity.
Organized by community leaders, volunteers, and city officials, 01420 Week highlights the resilience, creativity, and diversity of the city while encouraging civic engagement and economic growth. It’s a time for neighbors to connect, for new memories to be made, and for the community to celebrate what it means to be part of the 01420 family.

Black Maternal Health Week 2025
Worcester will observe Black Maternal Health Week (BMHW) 2025 from April 11 to April 17, aligning with the national initiative led by the Black Mamas Matter Alliance. The 2025 theme, "Healing Legacies: Strengthening Black Maternal Health Through Collective Action and Advocacy," emphasizes the importance of community-driven efforts to address disparities in Black maternal health.
In Worcester, several events are planned to raise awareness and foster dialogue:
April 11, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Everybody's Work film screening at Girls Inc. of Worcester. This documentary delves into structural racism in healthcare and its impact on Black maternal outcomes.
April 16, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Black Maternal Health Week event at the Worcester Public Library's Saxe Room, organized by the City of Worcester's Department of Public Health.
These events aim to educate the community, promote advocacy, and support initiatives that enhance Black maternal health in Worcester.

Have you ever struggled to understand why a good God would allow His children to endure hardships? How do we cope? Register for this free event to learn more! The purpose of this conference is to share testimonies of individuals who have experienced hardships (breast cancer, challenges with fertility, domestic violence, etc), while pointing the audience to Christ, to equip our audience with tools to take better care of their minds and bodies, and to teach them who God is, and why we should continue to trust in Him despite our challenges.
